The room was really clean and modest, with a super comfy bed and a nice tub. It's in a perfect location, only a short 4-6 minute walk from The Dancing Leaf Gallery. Plus, there's a fantastic bakery within walking distance and another bakery right across the street.

We loved the delicious breakfast and the clean rooms with a shared bathroom. The location was perfect and the price was reasonable. The staff was friendly and the cheese jalapeño bagels were absolutely superb! Plus, the room was located above the dining hall, so noise in the evening was not a problem.

The charm of the Talkeetna Roadhouse is something you won't forget. The cozy atmosphere and rustic surroundings create a unique experience. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even picking us up from the train station. The location in the heart of town is perfect for exploring. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would definitely recommend this hotel. a memorable stay.
